I have always been truthful to you.

I don’t fathom this thing that how can you not trust me?

I have never ever “lied” to you.

Yes. I have lied, but I have never “lied”.

And what did I lie for?!

“Do you still have feelings for me?” I said No. I lied.

“Have you moved on?” I said Yes. I again lied.

But these aren’t “lies”, these are just lies.

Had these lies ever hurt you? Probably not.

Lies don’t hurt you. “Lies” does.

But have you ever wondered why I lied?

Just because I didn’t wanna add a woe into your life.

I didn’t wanna see you full of guilt

I didn’t wanna see you full of regrets

Because even if you don’t love me,

I do.

And it hurts to see you doubt me.

I never ever expected this behaviour from you.

Do you really think that I “lie” to you?

I have never ever been this truthful to anyone in my life.

I don’t “lie” to you.
