Just another poem..!

I still remember the first time you said “I love you”,

Heartbeats got fast as I was so happy to hear that from you

I loved you from such a long time

And it was finally happening,

That moment was just so divine.

There was no conflict between my heart and my mind,

Because somewhere deep inside me there was this voice that said “It is the right time”.

There was a part of me who knew it was something real,

And the thing that you’ll never break my heart was crystal clear.

But then,

One day,

My worst nightmare happened.

You broke me apart,

By saying “No” to my heart.

I was so stunned,

And every part of me went numb

My eyes were teary,

It was all dreary.

I didn’t expect that from you at all.

I thought you would always stay,

But you just drifted away.
