There is nothing like “Love at first sight”..

Love at first sight means falling in love with a stranger upon the first sight of them.

The concept of love at first sight is overrated. People say that they saw that person and just fell in love. But how’s that even possible?

How can you fall in love with someone by just seeing them for once?

How can you fall in love with someone without even talking to that person?

How can you fall in love with someone whom you barely know?

And most importantly,

How can you fall in love with someone whom you’re having no attachment with?

Love itself comes from attachment. You can’t love someone if you’re not attached to that person, and attachment takes time.

You can’t get attached to a person whom you just saw.

I’m not denying that feeling which you get on seeing someone for the very first time. That feeling is real. You can feel things for someone on the very first sight.

But that feeling isn’t love.

That’s liking. That’s attraction. That’s infatuation.

Let’s not confuse the concept of liking with loving. The things you feel at the first sight which you call love, isn’t love. It can’t be love. It’s just attraction.

You can develop a crush on someone by just seeing them for once. Yes. You can.

This is because infatuation is more of liking not loving.

Infatuation doesn’t come from attachments. But love does.

And if you still believe in love at first sight, then ask yourself one question.

Would you risk your life for the person you just saw?

Because love means doing everything for a person even if it means risking your own life to save theirs.

And if your answer is NO. Then, understand, that’s not love.
